A Legacy of Service & Strength – Celebrating 100 Years of Wolberg Electric

As we celebrate 100 years of Wolberg Electric, we honor the incredible people who built our legacy. Meet Milton Bindell—a WWII hero, Bronze Star recipient, and one of the men who helped shape Wolberg into the trusted name it is today. Milton is the son-in-law of Sam Wolberg and father of Jay Bindell, Wolberg’s current CEO.

This 1940s Knickerbocker News article highlights Milton’s bravery as a forward observer during the fierce Battle of the Elbe. Carrying a 90-pound radio under enemy fire, he played a vital role in keeping his unit connected. After the war, Milton traded his battlefield radio for electrical supplies, joining the family business and leading Wolberg Electric into the future.

From wartime resilience to powering our communities for a century, Wolberg Electric’s story is built on strength, dedication, and service—values that continue to drive us today.
